Description:	Today, two major international Tier-1 providers, Cogent and Hurricane Electric, experienced simultaneous fiber incidents in Greece. As a result, a portion of international traffic to and from our network was temporarily affected. The incidents were caused by two simultaneous fiber cuts: one in Attica, between Megara and Kiato, and another on the Larisa-Variko link, which resulted in their ring being disrupted. Connectivity has been restored. However, at this time only one optical path has returned to service, and full restoration of the second path is still pending.

Description:	In the coming days, customers who have CPANEL Shared and/or reseller hosting will be upgraded. For your convenience this will be done outside peak hours (after 20:00). This upgrade is necessary for the future security of the systems and services we provide you as the manufacturer's extended support of cloudlinux 6 is coming to an end. During the transition we expect there to be a service disruption of up to four hours. In most cases it is not necessary to do anything on your part. But as the default php will now be upgraded to 8.1 from 7.0 which was until today, if you have a website with old code that does not support php 8.1 and only in the case that you have not selected php from cloudlinux, then after the upgrade you should just through cpanel select the appropriate version. The database version will also be upgraded to MariaDB 10.6. Should you experience any issue after the update , open a support ticket on our client area at https://hostmein.gr

Description:	Earlier today 04/05/2023 at 11:10 there was a malfunction for about 30 minutes on your hosting package. The malfunction was caused from a cloudlinux software bug, specifically from the kernelcare subsystem, a security software that constantly updates servers for security reasons and which affected tens of thousands of servers worldwide. Relevant official information is also available here from the manufacturer https://cloudlinux.statuspage.io/ The issue is currently resolved and we await further updates from cloudlinux. Description:	Today from 20:55 Athens time we are experiencing problems with our traffic towards many paths outside of Greece and Forthnet. Issue is being caused by a major network malfunction on Lamda Hellix Data Centers network. No servers have been impared or infrastructure. The issue is only network based. We will update you soon. Thank you for your understanding.

Updates:	16 December 2019, 20:55 Connectivity has been restored. We are waiting for the incident report from the data center on why multiple paths were down at the same time. Note that connectivity was not completely lost. But during the incident portions of the global connectivity was impaired.

Updates:	17 December 2019, 08:00 We have received further update from our Data Center which is our aggregator for most of our global IP transit. A major inbound DDoS attack was targeting the Data Center, although this is not a problem as there are special protections against such attacks, the netflow protocol made the IOS-XR operating system on the Cisco router constantly reboot, both primary and secondary router. Scrubbing protection was activated and other steps were taken to immediately overcome the problem. The event is being investigated by the hardware vendor , Cisco.
